Facility Team Lead
Own the standard
2020FIT runs on a simple idea: people do their best training in a space that's clean, safe, and dialed in. As Facility Team Lead, that standard is yours. You'll lead our facility team, keep the building running, and catch the small stuff before it ever becomes a member complaint. If you love fitness, have a knack for fixing things, and a mild case of OCD — this is a great fit, and a real growth path as we scale.
Four things, done right
Lead the facility team
- Direct and coordinate cleaning and maintenance staff — set the schedule, assign tasks, hold the standard.
- Be the first point of contact for facility issues so they get solved fast.
Keep the building dialed in
- Run daily and weekly walkthroughs for cleanliness, organization, equipment function, and safety — log and triage what you find.
- Maintain amenities — locker rooms, showers, common areas — to a high standard.
Coordinate repairs & maintenance
- Handle small fixes yourself and schedule routine equipment checks.
- Line up and manage outside contractors for bigger jobs; escalate major items to the GM.
Safety & compliance
- Conduct periodic safety inspections and correct hazards promptly.
- Enforce facility policies for cleanliness and safety.
The right person for this
You can run a small team and hold a standard without hand-holding.
Comfortable with basic maintenance — and you know when to call a pro.
Reliable and proactive. You catch things early, before members do.
A genuine passion for fitness and a positive, community-first attitude.
Facility, maintenance, or ops background a plus — not required.
