December 2025 Newsletter

Jon Rowley expresses gratitude to the 2020FIT team for enabling him to take time off during Thanksgiving -- "the first time in 5 years." He describes a family trip to Mexico with his in-laws, highlighting the value of stepping away while trusting capable staff and then returning to "a bunch of happy, awesome people."

Health & Wellness Focus

I completed a "metabolic reset" and encourage community members to consider joining a similar program in January. Wishing everyone the best this holiday season and expressing gratitude to the team.

New Baby Announcement

Congratulations to team members Amanda, Tory, and the Stoffregen family on the arrival of their newborn, Harvey, who has already visited the gym.

Team Appreciation & Venmo Drive

Want to show appreciation for our amazing team? Simply Venmo @PV2020FIT. The distribution structure: 60% supports full-time staff and 40% goes to part-time crew members.

New Team Member

Zay joins the gym in an interview/training capacity. Members are encouraged to welcome him as he shadows classes.

Metabolic Reset Details

My annual November reset focuses on metabolic health and maintaining leanness before "eating season." Additional details are available by clicking the accompanying image.

New Product: Body Health Brand

Thanks to Sara's efforts, 2020FIT now carries Body Health products. I personally use their amino acids for recovery and recommend them.

Morning Routine

Here's my daily supplement routine: an amino acid product as a "coffee" replacement, combined with dandelion root and creatine.

Book Recommendations

Books make excellent gifts -- "bang for your buck" at approximately $15. Check out my favorite reads from the past year.

Holiday Habit Hold Bingo Challenge

Kelly promotes a printable bingo card challenge to maintain habits through the holidays. Members submit completed cards for a drawing with winners announced December 31st.

Nutrition Coaching Promotion

Pursuing nutrition coaching during the holiday season is a great move. Contact Kelly at 816-908-5129 or kelly@2020fit.com.

HSA/FSA Payment Option

Members can now use health savings accounts to pay for training, potentially saving ~30% annually. The process involves:

  1. Taking a qualification survey
  2. Receiving a Letter of Medical Necessity ($30 cost)
  3. Using HSA card for future payments

Fire+Ice Facility Project

I'm announcing a long-envisioned "proper Fire+Ice setup" for the gym. This is essential to comprehensive health programs but requires sponsorship funding. Details will follow as construction costs are finalized.
