June 2024 Newsletter

Why I love HERO week.

It reminded me of the first week of practice back in high school. When everyone was sore. Everyone was complaining about the grind. We were all in it together. There is nothing like shared suffering to bring people together as I just read this week in a fabulous book called "Tribe" which was recommended to me by Bobby (read his thoughts as a veteran on HERO week here).

And I think that is what I love about the day to day at 2020FIT.

We're doing our best version each day of 'hard'.

Somedays hard is just getting through the door. Others it's an all out effort. Most days it's something in between.

Regardless of your 'hard', we are all able to do something awesome last week for some people who have done a lot of hard things for us. We're raised nearly $15,000 that is going directly to helping veterans and their families.

I'm proud to be a part of this and grateful to get to do these workouts together with a little more meaning than your typical daily workout.

Join us for a get together on June 7th to celebrate HERO week and each other's company.

Let's have an amazing June!

If you haven't contributed to Mission 22 and would still like to - you can do so here!

Have a buddy you want to bring to the gym? First Friday's will be ideal to bring a friend who's new to fitness or who hasn't tried 2020FIT but wants to give us a shot.

We're staying open later Monday - Thursday! You'll now have access to open gym until 8 pm plus we're offering a different package for people who are able to train after 6 pm.

Oh and of course I save that inflationary news for the end. We've raised your monthly by $5 to cover the increased cost of doing business. Thank you for allowing us to do what we do and to get to employ some amazing people that make this place happen!
